Amelia Louise Vanoy Crook was born Oct 1st, 1949 to Charles and Gladys (Ihle) Vanoy. She married the love of her life Donald on January 26th, 1980. They had many years together enjoying traveling, camping, church & spending time with her family & friends. She had sang & played piano for her church & sang with the Mills Sisters & Unity Singers for several years. She retired from Fairfield Medical Center after a rewarding & successful career in Nuclear Medicine. She was a true Ohio State Buckeye & Columbus Blue Jackets fan. Her favorite past time was studying her bible & spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Survived by husband, Donald, Son Todd (Connie) Crook; grandchildren, Ron Crook & Jennifer (Mike) Van Horn, great grandchildren, Madisyn Morris, Kyric Crook, Evelyn Van Horn & Felicity Crook. Brothers Dave (Rhonda) Vanoy & Dan (Debbie) Vanoy; sister-in-laws, Patty Valesko & Shirley (James) Keith, brother-in-laws, Tom Crook & John Crook. Many beloved family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents & brothers Cecil Vanoy & Richard Vanoy. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital. Viewing will be at Halteman-Fett & Dyer. Thursday Sept 29th 3 to 5 pm with service following at 5 pm. Cremation will take place with a graveside service at a later time.
