Betty L. Browning, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Tuesday August 15, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Bessie Werts, born February 22, 1923. Betty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, retired School Teacher of 35 years, long time Sunday School Teacher and church piano/organ player.
She is survived by children, Linda, Sara and son, Jack; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, John W. Browning Jr., Parents, brother, Glenn Werts.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Nihiser officiating. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home and 1 to 2:00 p.m. at the Church on Sunday. Private burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery.
