Betty J Procario

Betty Jane Wasem Procario, age 91 went home to be with her Lord, Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Pickering House. She was born October 18, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1942. Betty was employed at Wright Field in Dayton, OH, Ray-O-Vac office, and worked at South School as Instructional Aide for 15 years, Volunteer at Fairfield Christian Academy for 10 years and member of Fairfield Christian Church.

Betty is survived by her loving children; Ernest L. (Carolyn) Wasem II, Steven W. (Patti) Wasem, Sharon (Herb) Friesner, Barbara L. (Robert R. Jr) Rowland, Diana J. (Walt) Zinn, and Loretta (Dave) Phalen, nine grandchildren: David (Lisa) Berry, Daniel (Laurie) Zinn, Debbie (Joe) Young, Brenda (Andy) Ward,John (Christy) Wasem, Wendy Wasem Nutter, Crissy (Ryan) Bash, Jessica (Josh) Hachat and Robert R. Rowland, III, 19 great grandchildren; Siara, Michael, Meagan, Drew, Jakeb, Ryan, Hailey, Tyler Z., Cameron, Cailynn, Robert, Tyler R., Bailey, Christopher , Isaiah, Elliott, Cooper, Naomi and Paisley, one great-great-grandchild, Ellie LeuVoy, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by; parents Winfred Mikesell and Bessie Lenor Saunders Mikesell, her husband of 49 years Ernest Lee Wasem I, and husband of 4 years Romeo David Procario, brothers: Walter Scott Rankin and wife Grace, Richard Mikesell and wife Glenola, Robert W. Mikesell and wife Mildred Marvine, sisters: Winifred (Hampp) Evans.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday 1:00 P.M. at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor William Lavely officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamburg Church Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Fairfield Christian Church in memory of their mother.
