Betty Jean (Baker) Swinehart

Betty Jean (Baker) Swinehart, 89, of Wilmington, Ohio passed surrounded by loved ones on December 31, 2022. Betty was a dedicated mother of seven. A woman of strong faith who cherished her children and grandchildren. Betty was known for her loving heart, kindness, humor and wonderful cooking.

Survived by children Viki L. Laymon, Christy J. Hoadley (ron), Tami L. Binkley (Dwight), Terry R. Swinehart (Heidi), Tim C. Swinehart (Patty), Laurie A. Crooks, Bobbi J. Walls (Dale). Grandchildren: Mandi J. Anders (Bob), Joshua B. Laymon (Angie), Cody H. Blocker (Faith), Jacob B. Binkley, Jesse B. Binkley, Brooke A. Evans (Jake), Chasity M. Zawacki (Josh), Cory A. Swinehart (Courtney), Shianne N. Swinehart (Alan), Stephanie L. Albanese (Tod), Mylie R. Walls, Hunter E. Walls, Breyden P. Walls. Great grandchildren: Desiree D. Laymon (Christian), Destiny R. Laymon (Tyler), Hope L. Blocker, Curtis K. Blocker, Jaxon R. Binkley, Birdie R. Evans, Lucas R. Zawacki, Evelyn A. Zawacki, Calvin C. Zawacki, Veda Rutter, Lincoln M. Swinehart, Colton P. Bruny, Jack F. Nolan, Finn K. Nolan, Willow G. Nolan, Rogan D. Albanese and Danny J. Johnson. Great great grandchild: Cohen A. Gorby. Brother: Charlie Shoemaker (Theresa).

Preceeded in death by father, Charles Albert and mother, Leva Dell Baker and brother, Robert Freeman Baker.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 1PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial is to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of the services on Thursday.
