Brian Keith Blosser

Brian Keith Blosser of Somerset, Ohio passed away on May 11th, 2026, one day after celebrating his 62nd birthday, surrounded by the people he loved most. It is with deep sorrow we mourn the unexpected loss of our loving Husband, Father, and Papaw; as he experienced a sudden cardiac arrest while working outside.

Brian is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy (Meadows) Blosser, his children Jessica (Steve) Spragg, Katie (Chris) Weyandt, and Andrew (Jenessa) Blosser, and his grandchildren Layla, Kendall, Jase, Alexander, Ella, Emery, Lucas, Caroline, and the soon expected Baylor.

He was born May 10th, 1964 to his late parents, William (Bill) and Emily Blosser. He married his high school sweetheart, Cindy, at the age of 19, and they raised their family in Pleasantville, Ohio. Brian impacted many lives through the years of being a foster parent. He was an incredibly hard working man, who could do just about anything (except advanced electrical and plumbing work, we leave that to the professionals). He completely remodeled the family home, largely self-taught. He enjoyed understanding how things worked and was skilled at teaching others what he knew.

Brian was known for his integrity, hard work, selflessness, and faithfulness. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his family. He loved fishing, hunting, and being in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. He also loved teaching his grandbabies how to fish, raise chickens, and enjoy nature just like he did.

Brian will be remembered most for his devotion to God and to his family. He loved his wife like Christ loves the church, and he trained his children up in the way they should go. He ran his race well, and he finished strong.

He was a good, good man and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at The River Valley Life Center, 2190 Coonpath Road NW Lancaster, OH 43130, Saturday, May 16th 11:30am-1:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm.
