C. Jane Lavere

C. Jane Lavere, 89 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, April 11th, 2022 at Carroll Place. Jane was born on April 29th, 1932 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late John Rauch and Rose Herold Rauch. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jane always provided the best holidays for her family and was charitable and non-judgmental to everyone. She loved her three cats, Maggie, Baby, and Tiny. She was an avid reader and always loved the spring lilacs, violets and watching the birds and squirrels. Jane will truly be missed by all that loved and knew her.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Chuck) Watts; son, John (Cyndi) Lavere; grandchildren, Aimee Heston, Anna (Phil) Hicks, Josh Lavere and fiancé, Nikki, Anna (Phil) Hicks; step-grandchildren, Austen Watts, Derek (Olya) Watts, Taylor Watts, and Rachael Watts; great-grandchildren, Luke Heston and Phoebe Hicks; brother Danny Rauch; sisters, Rosie (David) Kern and Betty Lou Oatney; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, C. Marvin Lavere; and her brothers, John, Tom, Jim, and Bob Rauch.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April, 16th, 2022 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Charles Wheatley officiating. Burial is to follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4PM-7PM, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Satuday at the funeral home.
