Carolyn Jean Hamilton

Carolyn Jean Hamilton, 76 of Lancaster passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Mount Carmel East. Carolyn was born in Lancaster, Ohio on May 29, 1947 to the late Charles D. and Pauline C. Frazier. Growing up, Carolyn was an avid softball player and could outrace every boy on the west side of Lancaster. She had retired from JC Penney. She loved working with her flowers, especially her daisies. Most of all, Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, sister and especially grandmother.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Greg Hamilton; son, Col. Jeff (Lt. Col. Jessica) Adkins and their children, Jace, Jaxon, Jocelyn and Juliette; son, Glenn (Kim) Adkins and their children, Ava and Vivian; step-son, John (Carissa) Hamilton and their children, John Jr. and Tara; step-daughter, Emily (Brandon) Hampson and their children, Ella and Addie; sister, Joyce (John) Severing; lifelong friend, Sandy Clark; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Frazier; and her nephew, Nick Childers.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial is to follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4PM-7PM, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Monday at the FUNERAL HOME.
