

Charles H. "Chip" Dennison, 58, of Lancaster went to be with our Lord and savior on November 28, 2021. He was born February 7, 1963 to Charles "Chuck" and Judith Dennison. He is a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1981 and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He proudly served his country for 5 years. He loved deer hunting, fishing and building miniature race cars and model planes. He loved to observe the serenity of nature and enjoyed photography. He was an accomplished chef and grill master and an avid lover of music. And he always stood by his Wolverines and Bengals for better or worse. Most will remember him for his big warm smile and friendly personality. Chip was a loving husband, beloved father and proud papa whose memory will be cherished always.
Chip is survived by his wife of 31 years Kelly (Boystel) Dennison. Daughters Tiffany (Eric) Morrison, Ashley (Greg) ward, son Jason (David Pugh) Dennison. Parents Charles "Chuck” and Judith Dennison. Siblings Melissa (Tim) Hartranft and Scott (Jackie) Dennison. Grandkids Alex, Jake and Connor Ward. Leah, Ava, Genny and Judy Morrison. In Laws Charles "Butch" and Bonnie Boystel. Brother in laws John Boystel, Andy (Christina) Boystel. Sister in laws Jennifer Boystel Lindahl, Beth (Dave) Boystel and Michelle (Steve) Carper. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond Matz, Maxine and Pearl Nixon, Blaine and Delores Brown, Howard Dennison and several aunts and uncles. Also special lifelong friend Stan Hudnell.
Dignity Cremation is to take place through the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 12PM-3PM, with a Memorial Service to be conducted at 2:30PM on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at the Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life at the American Legion Post 11 (279 Canal St.) in Lancaster from 4PM-8PM with Military Honors being performed at 4:30pm.
