Clarence Albert Raver, 94 of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Clarence was born in Carroll, Ohio on May 27th, 1924 to the late Guy Clifford and Rosa Ethel Raver. He retired from Anchor Hocking after many years of service and later in life helped others for 30 years at Lancaster Estates. Clarence loved taking care of others and he never met a stranger, making friends with anyone he came in contact with. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially taking hikes at Old Man’s Cave.
Clarence is survived by his daughter, Alice (Larry) Bondurant; grandsons, Jeff (Ramona) Bondurant and Isaac Raver; great-grandchildren, Clayton Bondurant, Hope (Jake) Kincaid, and great-great-granddaughter, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son David Raver; grandson, Christopher Bondurant; and brothers, Russell Raver and James Raver.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at 12PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rebecca Maples officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5PM-8PM at the funeral home, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Wednesday. Dignity cremation is to follow and a private burial is to take place at a later date.
