Dale R. DeLong 70, Lancaster Ohio passed away peacefully August 10th at Mount Carmel East hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on December 27, 1955 to the late Clarence E. and Doris J. Edwards DeLong. He was a 1974 graduate of Liberty Union High School in Baltimore and previously worked at Essex, Ralston Purina and Kenworth. He is survived by his son Adam & wife Kristin DeLong. Grandchildren Haydin and Zoey DeLong all of Lancaster. Brothers Carl and wife Lisa DeLong of Newark Jeffrey DeLong and fiancé Allie Rotolo of Lancaster, brother-in-law Floyd Downs and stepson Jeremy Reed as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Janet Downs. Services will be held on Monday August 17th at 1:00pm at Halteman-Fett & Dyer funeral home with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster.
