David Ross Amos, age 75, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday April 26, 2026. He was born on February 22, 1951, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Donald B Amos and Ella Marie Amos. He liked fishing, trap shooting, talking on his ham radio, grilling, traveling and loved talking to new people, he never met a stranger.
David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine Rose (Evans) Amos, daughters, Cynda Amos (Perry) Hogsten, Jennifer Amos; grandchildren, Ashley Preston, Kayla Preston and Christina Arena; great grandchildren, Chloe Johnson and Paisley Caudill, good friends, Jerry Larabee, Fred Lamb, Gary Lamb and Larry Lamb.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday May 2, 2026 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with visitation from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
