

Donald Eugene Duffy was born on February 23, 1952 to Robert Morris Duffy and Helen Grace Nutter Duffy in Gallipolis, Ohio. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1970 and attended Ohio University. He married his beloved wife of 46 years, Kathleen Morris Duffy, on July 19, 1975 in Lancaster, Ohio. They were married until her passing in 2021.
Don was an inventor, salesman, star baseball player, tennis lover, expert woodworker, friend, and devoted uncle. He supported Hocking College and Ohio University. An avid Buckeye fan, Don loved sports. He played guitar and tuned pianos.
Don is survived by his brother, Robert Morris Duffy II (Bernice), Sister Janet Hayes. His niece, Lisa (Joe) Frequez of Arizona, Mark (Donna) Hayes of Savannah, Georgia. Christina (Christopher) England of Marysville, Ohio, Abigail Duffy of Chillicothe, Ohio and Keegan (April) Duffy of Waverly, Ohio. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Don and Doug Morris of Leesburg, and their families. He will be missed by all, including close friend - Jane Wolfinger.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th at Halteman-Fett-Dyer in Lancaster, Ohio with viewing from 2 to 4 pm and service to follow. Internment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio with a private family event.
