Dorothy L Witham

She was a 1947 graduate of Lancaster High School, a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Olivedale Senior Center, American Legion Post 11 and worked at Anchor Hocking (plant two) for 20 years.

Survived by sons, Mark (Karen) Witham, Brian Witham (Andrew Macleod), and Kevin Witham; grandchildren, Matthew (Audri) Witham, Kristen (Joshua) Newitt; great grandchildren, Maxwell, Rowan, Cooper, Reagan Witham; step great granddaughter, Lilee Newitt; sisters, Linda Slone and Judy Shaeffer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson L. Witham; parents, Russell and Ruth Shaeffer; brothers, Russell, Don, Jim and Homer Shaeffer; sisters, Mary Jane King, Ruth Dixon, and Ida Mae Hunter; and special friend, Harold (Dave) Markwood.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Ridge of Lancaster, Lanfair Rehabilitation and to the nurses, physicians and support staff at FMC.

Services will take place at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Quay officiating at 11 am on Wednesday January 18th. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. A Livestream of the Services will be able to be view on the FUNERAL HOME Facebook Page. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, 5pm-7pm and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy’s memory to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 125 N Eastwood, Lancaster, Ohio.
