Douglas Jennings Mills of Lancaster passed away Monday August 21, 2023 at the age of 68. Doug was born May 11, 1955 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Homer Jennings Mills and Donna Faye (Bowsher) Mills. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1973, was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Doug didn’t know a stranger and was loved by many. In his younger years he loved to work on cars and race them at National Trail Raceway. Doug is survived by fiancé, Diane Cochran; sisters, Vicky (Rick) Vancuren and Karen (Jeff) Uhl; nieces, nephews and extended family; fiancé siblings, Laura (Robert) Lind and Terry L. Lyons; his beloved cat, Gracie. Cremation has taken place by Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home.
