
Dudley C. Fisher, Sr., age 81 of Carroll, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Tuesday morning, July 03, 2012. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea, member of First Baptist Church of Carroll, a retired employee of Anchor Hocking and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
Survived by his first love and wife of 59 years, Virginia (Peg), father to Chuck (Jill) Fisher, grandfather to Christopher (Candi) Fisher, Nic (Emily) Fisher, and Adam Fisher, great-grandfather to Lane, Corey and Micah, also survived by sisters, Ruth Anderson, Joan Irwin and Edna Meredith and brother John (Faye) Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brother William Fisher and sister Roseanne Casey.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Cordle officiating. Burial will be at Carroll Cemetery where the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail will conduct military rites. Friends may call 6-8 P.M. Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. The family suggest contributions to the American Lung Association.
