Eddie Tackett

Eddie Tackett, 67 of Bremen formerly of Logan, lost his battle with Diabetes, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Homestead Care Center. Eddie was born April 11, 1947, Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Verdie Tackett.

He is survived by daughter Kim (Jeff) Shepherd, son Charles “Bub” Tacket, grandchildren; Zach and Audrey Shepherd, Kacie and Colin Tackett, brothers and sisters; Carmel (Mary) Tackett, Elmer Tackett, Lora Jean (Curt) Ray, Gracie Bell (Lee) Gilbert, Romalue (Wayne) Howard, Flora (Lloyd) Tackett, Nora White, Mary Pfeiffer, many nieces nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife Carol (2008), brothers, Curt Tackett, Bob Tackett, sisters, Beatrice Williams and Mag Warrens.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor Donnie Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Central Ohio Diabetes Association or charity of choice in Eddie’s memory. The family would like to thank those who have been involved with his courageous battle with his illness.
