

Forrest Edward “Bud, Clark, George and Sweetie” Skinner, 90 of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, with his wife by his side. Born in Braxton County, West Virginia to Thomas and Agnes Skinner. Clark is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Norma. His four children Ronald Lee (Joyce), Dennis James (Mary), Virginia Carlene and Marvin Franklin (Mary), 4 stepchildren Cathy LeFever (Richard), Mark (Pam) Martens Chris Martens and the memory of Kevin Martens. Siblings Jean Fletcher, Marvin Skinner, Katharine Berry and Thomas (Otto) Skinner. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 60 years, Juanita Skinner, siblings Oria, Oran, Herbie (Farmer), Ernest (Peck), Thelma, Lucille and Scott.
Forrest is a Korean War Veteran. After the war, he worked at US Steel in the Rolling Mills for 43 years. He is the grandfather of 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Clark will be remembered fondly for (not only and in no particular order) his kind demeanor, cutting power cords anytime the power cord ran in front of him, his golf, his love for his family, his work ethic and his Lincolns. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, January 4th from 3-5 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, 436 N. Broad Street, Lancaster, OH 43130. Followed by a funeral service at 5 pm. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 5th, 2022 at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst, Ohio.
