Born in Ironton Ohio, he moved to Logan Ohio where he met the love of his life Dorothy Baker.
After 61 years together, he passed away peacefully at their home in Carroll, Ohio after a long illness.
He was a master craftsman for Lambert Sheet Metal of Columbus Ohio. He was proud his 60 year membership in Local #24. He was a "Jack of all trades" always willing to help anyone at any moment.
He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and a great grandpa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, son Chris(Tammy), daughter Debra, grandchildren Leah, Nick and Rachel. Six great grandchildren Riley, Ethan, JJ, Elliana, Elizabeth and Bentley.
Brothers Mike, Jeff and Tony. Sisters Donna and Anita. Close family members James(Deborah)Baker,
Doug(Meg)Baker, Susan West and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Proceeded in death by his father Joseph(Bessie) Bazell, Mother Alma Wilds, 5 brothers,
Brother in law Dr. Phillip Bebb and special great grandson Noah.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Sept. 16th at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church 404 S. Third St, Columbus, Ohio 43215. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Elevator fund of the Trinity Lutheran Church or a Food Pantry of Choice. Cremation by Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home.
