Genevieve “Jenny” Peyton, 101 of Lancaster, passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2025. Jenny was born in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Edward Henry Konkler and Martha J. Myers Konkler. She did clerical work at Anchor Hocking for many years and was a member of Faith Memorial Church.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Mike) King, Mary Aderhold, James (Barbara) Johnson, David Johnson, step children, Sharon Tope, Ralph (Carol) Peyton, Roger (Kay) Peyton and Larry (Sheryl) Peyton, brother-in-law, Lloyd (Patricia) Peyton; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Johnson and Delbert Peyton; siblings, Veronica, Jerome, Patricia, Clement, Eugene, Edward, Francis and Julia, and grandson, James King.
Friends may call from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 11:00 AM Saturday January 11, 2025 at funeral home with Pastor Paul Wymer officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens, Athens, Ohio.
