Glenn E. Rutter Sr., 76, Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Homestead Nursing Center. Glenn was born September 13, 1938 in Stoutsville, Ohio. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Glenn was one of 21 children and retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Company.
He is survived by his children, Glenn Jr. (Cindy) Rutter, Mark Rutter, Vince (Cathy) Rutter, Kathy (Jim) Bevard, Bob (Barb) Bevard, Jason (Crystal) Bevard, Cheryl Bevard; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; loving companion of 22 years, Mary Ann Bevard; 12 siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Rutter and Timothy Bevard;
father, Oscar (Margaret) Rutter and mother, Mary Roe; 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday February 23, 2015 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Barbee officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 12 to 1 p.m. Monday at funeral home.
