Gregory “Greg” A. Goodman, 64, of Lancaster, passed away on October 9, 2026, at the Fairfield Medical Center. Greg was born in Lancaster, Ohio on June 20, 1962, to Butch and Nancy Goodman. He was a nationally ranked barrel racing champion in his younger years and enjoyed spending time in the mountains, skiing with his children. Greg had a wonderful 50 plus year career as a drywaller. Upon his retirement, he became the ultimate handyman. He truly enjoyed being able to help others. Most of all, he loved being a grandpa.
Greg is survived by his parents, Butch and Nancy Goodman; sister, Julie (Terry); children, Tyler (Cassie), Sara (Bart), and Lily; grandsons, Hollis and Kai; and his special lifelong friends, John, Julie, and Traci.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Goodman.
A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 2PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
