OBITUARY

Gregory L. Moyer

September 10, 1954December 31, 2017

Gregory L. Moyer, 63, of Baltimore passed away on Sunday, December 31st, 2017 at the Mount Carmel East Hospital. Greg was born on September 10th, 1954 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Richard and Alnita Moyer. He was a graduate of Liberty Union High School, as well as a graduate of The Ohio State University; where he received his degree in Agricultural Science. Greg was an employee at Nationwide Insurance for 15 years, but his true passion was farming. He loved working on the farm and enjoyed being involved in 4-H. He also enjoyed John Deere tractors and was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeye football team. Most of all he loved spend time with family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved most of all. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Gina; sons, Jason (Tiffanee) Moyer and their children, Ashten and Mason; Jared (Christina) Moyer and their children, Lilly and Ava; and Darren (Jessica) Moyer and their child, Hailie; brother Rodney (Patty) Moyer; nieces and nephews, Adam (Suzi) Moyer, LeAnna (Scott) Schaefer, and Michael (Katie) Moyer; as well as many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 5th, 2018 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME at 7PM with Terry Smith officiating. Friends may visit from 6PM until the time of the service on Friday. Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Thurston United Methodist Church (2015 E. Main St. Thurston, OH 43157) in Greg's name.
