

Howard Braden, 75 went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2017. Howard was employed at Western Electric (AT&T) and retired with 30 years of service. Howard enjoyed working with computers. He had a tremendous sense of humor, if you enjoyed dry wit. Howard and Barb loved volunteering at Deer Creek State Park for nine years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barb; his loving daughter, Deborah (Gene) Autery, of Florida; daughter, Kristine Bratten, of Colorado; stepsons, Jim A. Presnell and Chris M. Presnell; two grandsons, Zachary Presnell and Jack Bratten; brothers Charles (Joice), Bryan, and Gary (Maria); sisters Jennifer (Steve) Jager and Carla (Logan) Campbell; sister-in-law Shirley Smith; several nieces, nephews and very special friends, Sam (Willie) Bellamy and Joe (Bert) Crawford.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Wesley Braden and sister Ruth Ann (Harlan) Hughes.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
