Jack Edward Morrison, age 88 of Lancaster passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Fairfield Medical Center. Jack was born September 8, 1936 in Logan, Ohio to the late Ralph E Morrison and Minnie M (Donaldson) Morrison. He graduated from Logan High School class of 1954. Jack retired from Ironworkers Local #172 Columbus after 44 years of service. He loved building projects from houses to restoring old cars, he enjoyed working, helping others and was happy when he had something to keep him busy.
Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wanda (Starner) Morrison of Lancaster, children, Mark E (Brenda) Morrison, Michael A (Lisa) Morrison and Christine E (Bernie) Dingman; the joy of his life was his 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild ; many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jean Walter.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 5, 2025 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Fairhope Hospice, Parkinson’s Foundation or ASPCA.
