
James Frederick "Jim" Dauterman of Lancaster, OH passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the age of 82. After several months of declining health he passed away peacefully. Jim was born in Lancaster, OH February 4, 1939 to father Earl Dauterman and mother Elsie (Beatty) Dauterman. He was one of seven siblings. Jim enjoyed building things and loved math. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes. His work ethic and dedication to his family were demonstrated both by his working at Anchor Hocking Glass in Lancaster, OH for 41 years and his multiple second jobs throughout his life. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Cathie as well as his siblings Ralph, Bob, and Margie.
He is survived by his loving wife Ann; daughters Lisa (Tim), Sheila (John), Holly & Stacy as well as his grandchildren; James (Kana), Zachary, Matthew (Kelsey), Samuel (Laura) & Sidney and his sisters Phylis and Sonia and brother Bill. In lieu of flowers, people wishing to honor Jim and his daughter Cathie can make donations to the St. Jude's Children's charity. A private viewing is planned for immediate family only.
