

Jaynie L. Klontz, 61, of Lancaster, passed peacefully Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home with family by her side. Jaynie was born January 11, 1952 in Troy Ohio. She was a member of the Fifth Ave Church of Christ and retired from JCPenny Distribution Center as a Customer Service Representative. Jaynie was a devoted grandmother who loved to spend time with family, grandkids sporting events, playing games on the computer, being outside and loved Hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou (Verity) Taylor, step mother, Bonnie Taylor, aunt, Mary Jane (Bill) Hall, grandparents, Howard (Nellie) Taylor and Joe (Hazel) Verity, uncle, Roy Sanderson and aunt, Lucille (Neil) Sanderson.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Carl F. Klontz of Lancaster, children, Dawn Kieffer of Columbus, Wendy (Brian) Dean of Lancaster; grandchildren, Tristan, Avery, Taylor and Madison, father, Donald F. Taylor, aunt, Anita Sanderson, brother-in-law, Russell (Sarah) Klontz, lifelong friends Susan (Michael) Spencer.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor David Tingler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
