

Jean Luse passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025 at the age of eighty-one at Primrose Memory Care. Jean was born in Norfolk, Virginia on July 27, 1943. She graduated from Columbus West High School in 1961, and she also attended OSU. She retired from Nationwide Insurance where she worked in health claims.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents William Berger and Mary Ellen Foltz as well as her sisters Carolyn, Lida, Marie, and Nancy. She is survived by her husband of 56 years James Luse, her daughter Lisa Luse, her son William Luse, and siblings Rick Berger (Chris), Robert Berger, and Pamila (Howard) McAllister.
Jeanie was a very sociable person who never met a stranger that she did not like. Jean’s main goal in life was to be a good wife and mother, which she succeeded in doing. Jean liked to read books, do crossword puzzles, and attend plays. Jeanie was person who brightened people’s days and will be sorely missed. We would like to thank the staff at Primrose Memory Care for their kind care as well as the hospice nurses. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME (436 N. Broad St. Lancaster, OH 43130). Visitation will be held from1PM-2PM on Saturday.
