John Adam Townsend, age 80, of Circleville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. John was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 3, 1944 to the late Willis and Florence Ann Townsend. He was a recreational pilot and enjoyed snowmobiling and boating. Most of all, he loved his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Grace of Circleville; son, John Townsend of Portage, MI; daughter, Teri (Seth) Ehrlich of Atlanta, GA; precious granddaughters, Rachel (Spencer) Strobel and Nina (Hunter) Lee, all of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Patricia Townsend, of Westerville, OH and Bonnie Brewer of Dublin, OH; special friends, Judy and Maurice Hovious, of Vicksburg, MI; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Angela Townsend.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5600 E Broad St Columbus, OH 43213).
