Freda “Joyce” Nixon, 92 of Lancaster, passed away on Monday October 13, 2025. She was born on October 26, 1932, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Fred Stewart Clark and Floene Pearl Conrad Clark. Joyce sold Avon for 40 years and worked for Anchor Hocking 15 years.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, James E Nixon, daughter, Linda L Anderson, granddaughter, Taylor A Anderson and grandson, Cameron C (Allyson) Anderson, great grandchildren, Wyatt and Lakeleigh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Gloria Clark and Laura-Lee Holowell, brother, Robert Clark. Special thanks to Fairhope Hospice and nurse Chelsea for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday October 21, 2025 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio.
