Judy E Gregory

Judy E. Gregory, Age 79, On January 12, Dwight (Road Hog), stopped and picked up Judy (China Doll) to take her to her final destination, and now they are trucking together again. Judy was born in Newark, Ohio and graduated in 1962 from Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas. After relocating to Lancaster, Ohio with her parents, Judy met and married Dwight, the love of her life and they began a family. Judy was a dedicated homemaker who raised two boys and took care of things on the home front while Dwight was on the road. Judy also cared for her parents and her husband when they were ill and in their final days. She enjoyed being a part of the Tiki bowling league. She was an excellent gardener, from her beautiful flower gardens to thriving house plants. She was a member of various local service organizations including the American Legion, Amvets, and the Moose. She is missed and loved by her sons, Scott (Kera), and Doug (Cassie); grandchildren, Dilan (Lily), Trenten and Adelei; loyal dog and companion Brody; sister Joan Marciel; Brother-in-law Fred Gregory; Sister-in-laws Donna Gregory & Shelia Gregory Mendoza; Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins; good friends Jan Steiner, Verlene Summers & Sue Smith. She was also met at her final destination by her father & mother, Charles and Virgina Van Meter, brother Gene Van Meter, mother and father-in-law Dwight L. and Anna B. Gregory, and brother-in-law Jim Gregory and many other loved ones and friends. Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 22nd, visitation will be 10:00am-11:00am at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will begin at 11:00am with Chaplin Josh Dexter officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, services will be held in the Chapel of Memories. Cremation has taken place.
