Keith D. Oatney, 66, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Keith was born on August 11, 1958, in Cambridge, Ohio to Earl and Norma Oatney. Keith served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Fairfield County Sheriff Deputy for many years. Keith was a kindhearted man and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed card games and his coffee.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Oatney; son, Shawn Oatney; grandchildren, Briana Chamberlain, Jayela Chamberlain, Maggie May, and Kaylee Marie; his mother, Norma Oatney; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Earl Oatney.
Per Keith’s wishes, Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
