

Leslie Ann Whittington, 80, of Pickerington, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her residence. She is a beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Leslie was born on December 19, 1944, in Neptune Beach, Florida to the late Albert and Ruth (Malcolm) Iverson. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1962.
She retired after a long career at KPMG in 2008, and throughout her years in retirement, she enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, traveling and truly loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Leslie is survived by her husband of 61 years, D.J. (Butch) Whittington, her four children, Jo Ann (Lester) Frasure, Jeffrey (Barbara) Whittington, Jill (Coy Dixon III) Spencer, and Janet (Steve) Rung; 6 Granddaughters; Christy, Kortney, Kamry, Khila, Kelsi, and Brynley; 4 Grandsons; Ray, Christopher, Cory and Cameron; 7 Great-Granddaughters; Lyric, Isabella, Destini, Mila, Ni’Riya, Grayson and Harper; and 3 Great-Grandsons, Christopher Jr., Jeremiah and Luka; brother Albert (Jane) Iverson, Jr., sister Anne (Ken) McOsker, sister-in-law, Carol (Whittington) Hanaway; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth (Iverson) Allison and Karla Iverson and sister-in law, Reba (Whittington) Broadway.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at ST. PETER’S LUTHERAN CHURCH in Lancaster, Ohio and a reception will immediately follow. A private burial will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Marfan Foundation in her honor.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the love she shared and the beautiful memories she left behind. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
