Margaret A. “Peg” Wysong, 71, of Lancaster passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at Pickering House. Peg was born May 16, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Horace A. and Dorothy E. (Miller) Garlough. She was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church, National Day of Prayer Board, and Columbus Koinonia.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Wysong of Lancaster, son, Bryan (Lisa) Wysong of Lancaster, daughter, Gena (Paul) Porter of Baltimore; grandchildren, Joel and Nathen Porter of Baltimore; brothers, Jim Garlough of Lancaster and Dick (Lois) Garlough of Virginia, nieces ,nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at The First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Matthew Richardson officiating. Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Heritage Room at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in her memory to First Presbyterian Church Youth Program, 222 North Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or The Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
