Marlene Brown, 80 of Lancaster, passed away Thursday June 8, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. Marlene was born March 15, 1937 in Xenia Ohio to the late Wiley and Vida Manker. Marlene was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster. She was a former school teacher at Wellington City Schools.
She is survived by her sons, Terry (Jill) Brown, Kevin (Karen) Brown; daughter, Pat (John) Colvin;; 6 grandchildren, Scot, Staci, Nathan, Ben, Gabe and Shalyn; 3 great-grandchildren, Brookelyn, Kyrstin and Alex; brother-in-law, Glenn Phillips, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarkson P. Brown, parents and sister, Northa Phillips.
Friends may call Sunday 1 to 3 p.m. at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at funeral home with Pastor Cheryl Foulk officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington, Ohio at a later date.
