Mary E Elliott

Mary Ellen (Nimon) Elliott passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022. Mary Ellen was born in Lancaster on January 8, 1938 to the late Rose (Sullivan) and Harold Nimon. Mary Ellen graduated from St. Mary class of 1956. Her passion was her children, grandchildren, great grandson and family. Especially her brothers and sisters. Mary Ellen taught drivers education to many Lancaster students. She was also the co-owner of Pink Cricket. But, most of all, she will be remembered for her unconditional love for everyone.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Don Elliott; parents, Harold and Rose Nimon; and brother, James Nimon.

She is survived by her sons, Keith (Jo) and Kevin Yates; daughter, Vickey Rhymer; grandsons, Nathan, Nicholas and Kaleb Yates, Will Rhymer and Zack Alspaugh; great grandson, Knox Yates; sisters, Rosalie Kittleson, Frances (Lloyd) Tobias, Catharine Nimon, Michael (Jackie) Nimon; and best friends, Carol Grubb and Rosemary Alten.

The family and friends may visit Tuesday, May 31st from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. A Vigil will be held at 7PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. A graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at 1pm at St. Mary Cemetery, 132 S. High St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
