Mildred Edith Henwood, 95 of Lancaster passed away Saturday July 26, 2025, at her residence. Mildred was born on October 9, 1929, in Pemberville, Ohio, the daughter of the late John L Bockbrader and Emma Buehing Dierker Bockbrader.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Roger (Jessie) Walker, Dan (Sylvia) Walker, Jerry Walker, Tim (Sandy) Walker, daughters, Cheryll Walker (Bob Crist) and Sandy (Mark) Woods, 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Henwood, brothers, Willie, Alvin, and Walter Bockbrader, grandsons, James Brown III and Bryce Walker.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday July 31, 2025, at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday July 30, 2025 at the funeral home.
