Miriam Murdock

Miriam L. Murdock, 89, of Lancaster passed away on Friday, August 12th, 2016. Miriam was born on October 10th, 1926 to the late Carroll and Florence Lavere in Basil, OH. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. Miriam was a member of the Eastern Star as well as being a lifelong member of the Calvary Orthodox Lutheran Church.

Miriam is survived by her sons: Bradley Murdock, of Lexington, KY, and Craig (Carol) Murdock, of Sugar Grove; grandchildren: Terah, Lorah, Kyle, Joel, Jamie, Mathew, Audre, Jon, Greg and Ty; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother, C. Marvin Lavere.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16th at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME at 10AM with Pastor Kenneth Witt officiating. Friends may call Monday from 5-8PM at the funeral home, as well as one hour prior to the services. Burial is to follow at New Lexington Cemetery.
