Mitchell L. Rivera, 58 of Lancaster passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Mitch was born on January 1, 1967 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Miguel Rivera and Linda Friesner. He loved bowling, watching the Cleveland Browns and traveling with his partner, Ian. Mitch will be remembered for his goofy and sarcastic personality that was fun to be around.
Mitch is survived by his daughter, Natalie Rivera; twin brother, Michael Rivera; sister, Marcey Rivera; “adopted son”, Tristan Rivera; partner, Ian Tok; niece and nephews; and two granddaughters and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tess Rivera; his parents; and his sister, Mitzie Garwatowski.
A Celebration of Mitch’s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
