

Pamela (Pam) Plescher, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025.Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Pam was a proud graduate of Zanesville High School and the Richard Weston Beauty School. She was the loving wife of Larry, her husband of 66 years. Together, they built a loving family, including their children Misty (Eric) Coakley, Brady (Holly) Plescher, and Chad (Kayla) Plescher; grandchildren Courtney Boyer, Morgan MacGregor, Jared Plescher, Ellyn Plescher, Alex Plescher, and Maggie Plescher; great-grandchildren Korbin, Karlyn, Aubrey, Emerson, Everly, Rowan and Blake and her beloved dog Teddy all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her brother, Tony Courtney, nephew Tyler Courtney and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey and Martha Courtney and her mother in law and father in law Laszlo and Mary Plescher. Pam was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, where she served as a deacon, assisted with Vacation Bible School, and lovingly prepared meals for Wednesday night dinners. She was also a past member of the Rushville Lioness Club, generously giving her time and talents to help others. She was a hairdresser for over 40 years, worked the polls on election day, and was a hospital volunteer. Pam will be remembered for her warmth, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her kindness and grace touched the lives of many. Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church on November 21, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam’s memory to Fairhope Hospice & Palliative Care or the Fairfield Area Humane Society. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
