I had the privilege of getting to know Paul when he came to do some hunting and fishing in Alaska. He truly enjoyed the out of doors and we shared some enjoyable moments fishing for Salmon in my boat and then with a guide when he came with Nancy just this past summer. I really enjoyed his company. He was adventurous, humorous, good natured, and very hospitable as he paid for much of the food and drink that we shared. I am sorry for his loss and the loss of the opportunity to have had more outdoor experiences with him. Having lost one of my own brothers, Paul was able to help me relive some of what I had lost with the passing of one of my family members as my older brother and I had a number of enjoyable times fishing, just as Paul and I had. Peace to all of you.

Paul was my uncle and my favorite at that. I was never a good kid by any means and the best advice I ever had was talks with him. There was just something about him that made him easy to talk to. I remember family Christmas at my uncles house messing around with all the taxidermy that he had. I love my uncle and the best thing I can say about him leaving us is just that he went peacefully and not in pain. I will never forget our talks. As a kid you were my best friend and I am sad that you had to go but it must have been your time to go home. I love you

We are very saddened by the passing of our friend, Paul. Paul gave so many the best gift, his time. Our friendship began when Paul was our delivery guy, always gave time to chat on the front porch. Later, Paul gave a lot of his time with our son, Drew. Teaching him to hunt and love the outdoors. I know he did the same for others...always willing to lend a hand and always willing to engage in a friendly chat. That's what Eric and I will miss most! Prayers for Nancy and all of Paul's family. He will be greatly missed!

A truly great guy. He and I solved, I truly believe, about all the world's problems daily. And he always had me laughing but at the same time I KNEW -- I JUST KNEW -- I ALWAYS HAD A FRIEND IN HIM. I'll truly miss him. Thank you, Paul. I hope they appreciate you in Heaven, because I can GUARANTEE YOU you were appreciated down here. God definitely got a new Angel. Keep smiling, my friend. Keep smiling. EVERYWHERE needs a smile like yours. I'll miss you.

Always enjoyed the time I spent with Uncle Paul. Staying at their house playin arcade games and fishing up at Lake Erie with him. He will be missed by this nephew. He was there for me as well as the rest of the family through some tough times. Rest in piece

Paul was a generous soul and truly wonderful man. He took our kids under his wings. From letting Chas play fetch with Bailey on the lake and taking him hunting, to giving guidance to Sam. He was loved by us all. He will be missed. The Cross family
