Phillip is my Brother-In-Law. One of his jobs was delivering pies, cakes and snacks for Blue Bird Pie Co. I had the pleasure two different times of riding along with him to Cambridge. He had something like 800 large pies,900 4" pies and three of four Birthday sheet cakes to deliver. When we came home he had very few out dated pies to take back to his plant. Anything in a small store that was going to be outdated that day he would take it and leave a fresh one in its place and take the one going to be outdated to a large store like Kroger and most likely it would sell there. Just one of the memories of Phil. Sam & Vonda Strawn

Phil was a close friend. We grew up in Rushville, played together, and went to school together, except I think Phil was one year ahead of me in school. Remember many good times at Elmer Frost Gas Station and Restaurant playing cards. We rode bikes together and had good times just hanging out. Real sorry to hear of his passing. Praying for his wife Darlene and his family.
