R. Neal Ruff

R. Neal Ruff, 89, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday June 15, 2023. Neal was born in Logan, Ohio on March 14, 1934 to the late Harold L. Ruff and Faye Ellen Warthman Ruff. He was a Korean Navy Veteran, member of American Legion and Masonic Lodge, longtime member of the Fairfield Christian Church. Neal is survived by sons, R.N. (Brenda) Ruff, and Mike (Stacey) Ruff; daughter, Debbie (Vern) Sheets; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Charlotte) Ruff and Dan (Jean) Ruff and sister, Joyce Ray as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jenna N. Ruff, parents, brother-in-law, Bill Ray. Funeral services are to be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Barbee officiating. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home, as well as ONE HOUR prior to the services on Thursday. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, Fairfield County, 1515 Cedar Hill Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130 in Neal's memory.
