

Today we lost a very special part of our lives. Shellee won her battle with lung cancer on May 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Shellee was born on December 12, 1964 and is survived by her parents, Diana & Dale Estep of Pleasantville, formerly of Pickerington, and John & Diane Taylor of Pleasantville. Shellee was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School class of 1982. Before Shellee's illness she was employed at Arthur Treacher's in Lancaster, and had her own cleaning business. She was a caregiver for her elderly family, neighbors, and friends.
Shellee will always be remembered for the love of her children and family. She lived for her girls, and always put them first in her life.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester & Helen Taylor, and George "Ted" Engle, Pleasantville and great nephew, Aidan Kelley.
Survived by her soul mate and caregiver, Leon Johnson, who has been by her side through her illness; daughters, Natalie Taylor (Adam Good) of Pleasantville, Stephanie Taylor (Charlie Morris) of Lancaster, Kelsey & Carley Johnson of the home; grandchildren, Ava & Mason Good, and expecting another grandchild in September. Also surviving are her, sisters, Aimee & Randy Tisdale of Lancaster, Anne & Tony Thornton, of Thornville and Angie & Rob Hoy of Pleasantville; brothers, Aaron & Keri Seifert of Galloway, & Ryan & Jennifer Seifert of North Lewisburg, Ohio; stepsisters Lisa and David Ingersoll of Cleveland, Suzanne Garner of Lancaster; stepbrother, Jim French of Lancaster; and grandmother, Hazel Engle of Lancaster; brother-in-law, Brian and Patricia Johnson of Rushville; numerous aunts & uncles; nieces, nephews; and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Rebeka Maples and cousin, Pastor Brian Meadows officiating. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Thurston United Methodist Church, 2015 Main Street, Thurston, Ohio or The Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, Ohio.
