Rebecca Lemaster

Rebecca J. Lemaster, 78 of Lancaster, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1932 in Shawnee Ohio, daughter of the late Charley D. and Annie (Steen) King.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Lemaster; parents; sisters, Beulah, Rachel, Mary, Ruth and Deborah; brother, Sam.

She is survived by daughters, Linda (Bill Smith) King of Glenford, Debbie (Ernest) Thompson of Newark, Yvonne Lemaster of Lancaster, Anita Miller of Lancaster, and Sherry (Henry) Mowery of Lancaster; sons, David (Julie) Lemaster, Steven Lemaster, and Danny Lemaster all of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph King; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Fairfield Medical Center ICU for their special care.
