Richard S. Fridley, age 65 of Lancaster, passed away suddenly June5th at his residence. He was a 1963 graduate of Carroll High School, graduate of Otterbein, retired P.E. instructor at Lancaster City Schools, member of OHSAA (Volleyball), and lifetime member of the N.R.A..
Richard is survived by: his sons, Capt. Casey W. (Susan) Fridley, Stephen J. (Shari) Fridley, grandchildren: Jordan, Connor, Adam, McKenna, Erin, and Kirsten, great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Anniston and life-long friend Elizabeth Woodyard Fridley.
Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jane Fridley, and a brother Stephen R. Fridley.
Friends may call 5-7 P.M. Monday, June 13th at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, 436 N. Broad St., Lancaster, Ohio, 43130. No memorial services will be observed. The family suggest contributions to the American Heart Association is Richard's memory.
