

Richard will be remembered for his love for Jesus, his unwavering love for his family and the lasting impact he had on everyone who knew him. He lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and a commitment to those he cared about most. His loyalty, generosity and love will continue to inspire those lives he touched, especially his girls and their families.
Retiring from Anchor Hocking after 43 years, Richard committed his free time to volunteering at Foundation Dinners where he took great pride in his work.
Above all, Richard was a devoted family man. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Cathy, his children Tammy (Craig) Boring, Terri (Rick) Kinser, and Cheryl (Dustin May) LeFever, his grandchildren Alex Michel, Dominic Boring (Abby Bickerton), and Caleb Boring, great granddaughter Alyssa Michel, sister Mary Williams, sister-in-law Barb LeFever, mother-in-law Norma Martens, brothers-in-law Mark (Pam) Martens and Chris Martens and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bud, Gene & Kenny LeFever, brother-in-law Pete Williams, sister-in-law Regina LeFever and granddaughter Andrea LeFever.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 10 from 4:00-7:00 at Halteman-Fett Dyer Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life at 7:00. Caring cremation to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through his family, the values he instilled, and the countless memories shared by those who loved him.
May he rest in peace.
