To the Irwin Family. I am Mark Donahue. I went to elementary school with Randy, Jack and Robby back in the late 60s and early 70s. I lived, next door to Bob Bigham Family, down over the hill from your house on County Rd. 17 out close to Rushville. My wife, Susana Bev, and I are missionaries in Asuncion, Paraguay in South America. I'm grateful for the technology we have today and that I am able to send you a message.
I'm sorry for what you must possibly be going through and feeling and the sadness, too, with the sudden passing of Rob. May God's love and peace surround you all and comfort you all during these days of remembering Rob and thinking of him. With much love and prayers, Mark Donahue

My condolences and prayers to the entire Irwin family.
Rob was the first friend I made in Ohio. Though we were in and out of each other's lives for almost 38 years, when we got together, we just picked up where we left off. Rob's friendship is as important to me now as when we first met. The impact he's had on my life can't be understated, especially in regards to music, and words cannot express how much I'm going to miss him. It hurts to know we'll never play music together again, or laugh about our experiences of trying to beat each other on the racquetball court, or laugh about anyone of our countless adventures throughout the course of almost four decades. Rob will always have a place in my heart and memory, and I'm going to miss him very much.

I considered Rob one of my very best friends. We met when we were 20 years old and working at Cyril Scott. I remember we used to skip work and go to the bars and we would go in the morning after 3rd Shift play video games at Kroger's on Memorial Drive until probably noon. One time we were coming back from Columbus and Rob's headlights started to dim then they went completely out are we decided we were just going to follow this semi in the Lancaster well we got about 4 miles from town the state highway patrol past us any whipped around and pulled us over and started screaming at us about how dangerous it was to drive with no lights. I've kept in contact with Rob for all these years I just saw him not too long ago. I am very sad and will be for a while Rob was a good dad and a great friend. I helped Rob when his wife left him and his kids because he loved them both so much now they're all grown up with kids of Their Own and I know he loves his grandchildren and his children very much so. My deepest condolences to his family and if there's ever anything that they need all they have to do is call

Words can not explain the emptiness and pain I feel right now. My Dad was such a wonderful man that will be greatly missed. I have only now met a man as hard working as my Dad, I never knew him to miss a single day of work, and he always tried to show up for anyone that called and needed his help. We may have not always seen eye to eye but that never changed how much I loved or needed him and the nearly perfect man I saw through my eyes. He tried his best to raise my brother and I & I promise I will never let that be forgotten. I don't know how to move on now without him and the sound of his voice on his voicemail has just not been enough. I love you Dad, so much more then I may have ever expressed. You have always been and still are your little girls hero. Until we meet again Dad......

I’m sorry to hear that Robert passed away. I’ve been friends with him from the seventh grade and somewhere after high school we lost contact. But I do remember lots of good times with that guy. Hope he Rest In Peace.

🍃❤️ We are still in shock with Rob’s passing, and you have our deepest sympathy. He was a good friend, and an awesome bass guitarist in The Hollowpoint Band. Rob will be forever missed by all that knew him. Heaven gained a new band member, and we’re sure Rob will teach them all a thing or two. When our time comes, and we all meet again, we want a concert!
Until then....Rob will always live
in our hearts❤️🍃
