Roberta “Bobbie” A. Jacobs, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday November 5, 2014. She was born June 19, 1945 in Lancaster, Ohio. She attended St. Aloysius Academy and retired from the Fairfield County Treasurers Office.
She is survived by her mother, Donati Roof; son, Roger (Sarah) Haley; grandson, Chase Haley; step-children, Mike (Tracy) Jacobs, Teresa (Jeff) Senig; step- grandchildren, Gage Whitmoyer, Cori Beatty, Chloe Jacobs and Keaton Jacobs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Jacobs, father, Frank H. Roof, grandparents, Herbert and Carrie Motsch.
Friends may visit from and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday at Word of Promise Family Church, 350 Park Street, Lancaster with Dave Dilger officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Roberta A. Jacobs’s name.
