Roland D. Peters

Roland Dean Peters of Pleasantville, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 30, 2024, surrounded by family. He was the son of the late Emerson and Goldie Peters. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a retired electrician from Essex Wire, and attended Pleasantville Methodist Church.

Roland was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janis; his parents; brothers, Maynard (Gerry) Peters, Paul (Florence) Peters; sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Conrad, Sharla (Doyal) McCune; brother-in-laws, Gerald Ety, Robert Miller; and a nephew and great-nephew.

Roland is survived by son, Jeff (Mary) Peters; daughter, Susan (Rick) James; four grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer) Peters, Kyle (Jaime) Peters, Shauna (Chad) Stotts, Nathan (Jessica) James; ten great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gary (Judy) Miller; sister-in-laws, Shirlee Ety, Shirley Miller and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Romaker and Dr. Venkataraman for their wonderful care, along with Caretenders and FairHoPe Hospice.

A Private Service was held per Roland’s wishes.
