Ron Lee Moore, 67, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Fairfield Medical Center on Friday October 20th, 2017. Ron was born on October 16th, 1950 in Lancaster to the late Harold “Buck” Moore and Irene Moore. He was a 1968 graduate of Lancaster High School and served in the Air Force From 1969-1973. He was proud to be a Veteran. He was employed at Anchor Hocking and A.P. Technologies, as well as Bob Evans and Giant Eagle. He along with his wife Sara owned and operated “Old Glory” Hamburger Shop in Bellefontaine, Ohio for many years.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Sara (Davis) Moore; sister, Carol (Vern) Senig; daughters, Kristin (Kurt) Hoffman, Tina (Frank) Groff; stepsons, Steve (Gail) Hill and Todd (Fiancée, Janet Kroemer) Hill; 6 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold and mother Irene.
At Ron’s request Dignity Cremation is to take place through HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. A Celebration of his Life for friends will take place on Friday October 27th, 2017 at the American Legion (279 Canal St. Lancaster, OH) from 3PM to 6PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fairfield County Area Humane Society(1721 Granville Pike Lancaster, OH 43130) in Ron's name.
